Biggest Poker Pot of the Year
Biggest Poker Pot of the Year
The biggest pot of the year to date was $593,935. This pot is almost $90,000 larger than the second biggest, so it is likely that it will remain the largest pot for quite some time. This pot was played on March 4th at Full Tilt Poker, with the combatants being durrrr and Ziigmund. Durr won this humongous pot with a hand of A-A-6-2 single suited when the board came down J-Q-A-7-J. Ziigmund flopped the nut straight, but durrrr flopped top set with the nut diamond draw. The river Jack gave durrrr a full house and he raked in this monster pot. Durrr and Ziigmund are often seen battling it out in the high stakes games at Full Tilt.
In other poker news, durrrr is still battling it out with Patrik Antonius in their 50,000 hand challenge match. Durrr is currently leading the challenge match by a little over $140,000. They have only completed around 4,000 hands, which means that the match is less than 1/10th complete. Many in the poker world are wondering if the match will ever be completed.
